The Kendal office of investment management company Rathbones Brothers PLC is investing in the local business community by sponsoring the Institute of Directors (IoD) and its calendar of Cumbrian events.
The prestigious wealth management company will have a presence at forthcoming IoD learning and networking events including the annual IoD Cumbria Lake Windermere cruise on 6 July.
The IoD is the UK’s longest-running organisation for professional leaders, supported nationwide through a network of regional branches. The Iod North West has approximately 1,800 members and covers Cumbria, Cheshire, Liverpool, Lancashire and Manchester. Cumbria’s IoD office is chaired by local managing consultant Chris Ward.
Richard Dawson, Regional Director of Rathbones Kendal said: “The Institute of Directors does excellent work in bringing the business community together and developing the region’s leaders. We are delighted to be sponsoring the IoD in Cumbria and look forward to engaging with members at upcoming events.”
Richard Dawson and Rathbones Kendal new recruit Investment Manager Tomas Owen-Jones recently attended the IoD Cumbria’s gender pay gap event in Wigton on 11 May, where a variety of speakers from local and national organisations gave advice on how firms can comply with new regulations.
Established in 1742, Rathbone Brothers PLC is one of the UK’s largest and longest established wealth management firms. Rathbones is well known for offering its clients high quality wealth management services while still retaining a truly local feel.
